Snake River rugby plays a split-season schedule with games taking place in the fall (September-November) and spring/early summer (late February-June). Although the schedule slightly varies from year to year, regular season practice typically runs through the fall with a short winter break, beginning again in the spring. Summer training consists of regular touch sessions to work on conditioning and skills training.
Stay updated on our weekly session schedule by following our Facebook page for more frequent updates or use the information on our Contact page to learn more about practice times.
To have a fruitful training session, it's important to come to practice with proper rugby boots (cleats) and a mouthpiece for light contact work. Toe cleats (found on standard American football boots) and metal cleats (baseball) are not allowed in the game of rugby, so standard rugby or soccer boots are recommended. Although not required, a rugby shirt and rugby shorts can be very helpful at practice, especially for forwards.
