Rugby Idaho - Mission Satement
The goal of Rugby Idaho is not only to introduce rugby to the youth in Idaho, but also to instill upon it’s participants the core values of rugby.
Though rugby may have historically received a less than prominent reputation as a barbaric and violent sport, the central disciplines to successful rugby have always been and will remain; team work, decisiveness, selflessness, courage, and fortitude. We believe that as these attributes are developed on the pitch, that they are transferred into everyday life – likewise, as they are developed in life, they are transferred onto the pitch.
Our goal with Rugby Idaho is to develop well rounded individuals through the rugby tradition. Our teams of volunteers are sacrificing their time because they want the values of rugby to reach as many as possible. They have all been changed by the game, and want to pass their experience on to the next generation.
Rugby Idaho is a young program that is continuously developing. We appreciate any feedback, comments, and recommendations. Your opinion is valuable. Please contact Matt Genetti to further discuss your involvement in Rugby Idaho.
